Obituary

Mrs. Ada K. HARRELL whose maiden name was CUNNINGHAM, was born in Lincoln County, Mo., April 22, 1876. She was the daughter of W. N. and Rebecca CUNNINGHAM. She was married to L. J. HARRELL Jan. 25, 1904. The final summons came to her just in the morning of life, she being but 28 years, 11 months and 8 days old, at the time of her death. She leaves a husband, father, mother, sister and brother to mourn her death.

She was a very quiet and meek woman; was converted and joined the M. E. Church South at an early age, living a consistent member until the time of her death, and she left evidence that she had been prepared by God's grace. She said to her mother a short time before her death that she was willing and ready to go. ............She said she wanted to leave this dark world and go where everything seemed brighter. In her dying hour she exclaimed, "Oh, I am so happy." She called her husband to her bed and sang , "Jesus Lover of My Soul, Let Me To Thy Bossom Fly," and "I'm Going Home To Die No More," singing those beautiful hymns to the end. How very appropriate for a dying saint. Then she fell asleep in Jesus. May the comforting influence of the Holy Spirit and the guiding hand of a loving Savior ever be with the sorrowing husband, father and mother. After services, conducted by Rev. J. S. Eames, her remains were laid to rest in Asbury cemetery then to await the blessed resurrection when mortality shall put on...........[rest is missing]
