Thomas J. HALL

Thomas Jackson HALL, son of John Rufus and Lou Ann Newland HALL, was born near Troy, Mo., Jan. 17, 1871. Here he grew to manhood, receiving his education in the local schools. He died suddenly June 18, 1940, at Davenport, Ia. at the age of 69 years....

Mr. Hall was married Nov. 11, 1903, to Miss Claudine HUTT, of Troy. For many years they lived in Kansas City, but moved to Blue Grass, Ia., 20 years ago where they have lived since. For 35 years Mr. HALL was employed by the Columbian Hog and Cattle Powder Company.

Besides his widow, Mr. HALL is survived by one sister, Mrs. W.H. HOBBS, of Kansas City, and 3 bothers, George M., of Troy; Allie, of Warrenton; and E. N. HALL of Keokuk, Ia. Funeral services were held last Friday afternoon by Rev. B.B. Harvey at the Troy Methodist Church. Burial was in Troy Cemetery.
