Obituary for Mary Grothe
(1980)A funeral Mass for Mary GROTHE, widow of former St. Charles County Sheriff Isidore GROTHE, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. tomorrow at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Third Street and First Capitol Drive in St. Charles. Burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery.
Mrs. GROTHE died Wednesday (Aug 6, 1980) at the Mar-Le Nursing Home in Wentzville. She was 91.
Surviving are a son, Robert GROTHE of St. Charles, and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother and 11 sisters.
Mrs. GROTHE was a member of the Christian Mothers of St. Peter’s and of the Daughters of Isabella.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 tonight and from 8:30 to 9:45 a.m. tomorrow at Prinster-Paul Funeral Home in St. Charles.
