Myrtle Graves
BOWLING GREEN --- Services for Myrtle Graves, 87 of Whiteside, will be 2 p.m. Saturday at the Whiteside Presbyterian Church. The Rev. James Currie is in charge. Burial will be in Olney Cemetery.
Mrs. Graves died Thursday afternoon at Pike County Hospital.
She was born April 17, 1892 in Lincoln County to James Dawson and Ida Davis Dameron. She was married January 25, 1912 to Cyrus Edward Graves. He died August 19, 1972.
Surviving are two sons, Paul of Middletown, Mo.; and Reginald of Anaheim, Calif.; three daughters, Mrs. Marjorie Patton of Silex, Mrs. Melba Caldwell of Middletown and Mrs. Mary Magruder of Whiteside; 27 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Ethel Riffle and Mrs. Dorothy Triplett, both of Elsberry and Mrs. Pauline Barnes of Troy.
She was a member of the Whiteside Presbyterian Church.
Visitation continued at the Mudd Funeral Home in Silex.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.

Services for Mrs. Myrtle Graves, 87, of Whiteside, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Whiteside Presbyterian Church with the Rev. James Currie officiating. Burial was in Olney Cemetery. Mrs. Graves died July 19, 1979 in Pike County Hospital.
Grandson of Mrs. Graves serve as pallbearers. Visitations were made at the Mudd Funeral Home in Silex.

(Melba) Caldwell, Middletown and Mrs. Robert (Mary) Magruder of Whiteside; 27 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Ethyl Riffle and Mrs. Dorothy Triplett both of Elsberry; and Mrs. Pauline Barnes of Troy.
