Julius Mason FRINK died at his residence in this city, of pneumonia, at 7:50 a.m., on the 22nd of January, 1899, aged 77 years, 11 months and 2 days. He was born in North Rochester, New York, Feb. 20, 1828, and was the youngest of eight children. Four brothers survive him. He left New York and came to St. Louis, Mo., in 1848, and Oct. 6, 1850, he was married to Miss Lucy Ann SHELTON, daughter of Creed SHELTON. To that union were born twelve children. Of these Alfred D. FRINK, Mrs Frances A. THURMAN, and Mrs. Missouri A. WILLIAMS are dead. The living children are Chas. D. FRINK, of Springfield, Mo., Mrs. Ella J. BROWN, of Laddonia, Mo. and John R., Jerry P., and Lyman M. FRINK, Mrs. Mary E. B. JEANS, Mrs. Cora E. KEMPER, Mrs. Sallie A. MILLER and Miss Ida M. FRINK, all of Troy and vicinity.

Mrs. Lucy Ann FRINK died January 30, 1876, and on Dec. 30, 1894, he was married to Mrs. Susan A. MILLER of this city, who survives him. Mr. FRINK has resided in this county in and near this place for many years and few men were better known. Always frank and open in all his dealings, a man of good, moral character, true as the needle to the pole to his friends, exceeding tenacious in his views of what was right, a devoted husband, a loving, indulgent father, a kind, accommodating neighbor, and an honorable member of the Masonic lodge of this city, these things made him greatly respected by the entire community.

Funeral services were conducted at his late residence in this city by the writer of this notice, assisted by Bretheren Latham and Rutledge, at 2 o'clock p.m., on the 23rd inst., in the presence of a large concourse of sorrowing neighbors and friends. After the services the members of the Masonic lodge took charge of the remains and conveyed them to the city cemetery, where, under the beautiful and solemn services of that ancient order, all that was mortal of the lamented FRINK was lovingly laid to rest. The bereaved wife, sons and daughters, grandchildren and all the relatives of the departed have the deep and abiding sympathy of the entire community. WILLIAM FRAZIER Troy, Mo. Jan 24, 1899
