Funeral services for Mr. Florence W. EVERSMEYER, Troy, Mo., were held Thursday, March 8, at Troy Bible Holiness Church, Troy. The Rev. Deloss Goins officiated. Burial was in the Troy City Cemetery. Pallbearers were Kent BUESCHER, Greg GRISWOLD, Ross HIRST, Charles PARK, Randy CHRISTMAN, Brian CHESSER, Jim BECK and Ron COUNTERMAN.

Mr. EVERSMEYER, 75, died Monday, March 5, 2001, at Lincoln County Memorial Hospital, Troy.

The son of Florence E. and Laura GERKEN EVERSMEYER, he was born Aug. 4, 1925, in Lincoln County Missouri. He married Kathleen GRAF on July 16, 1960, in Elsberry.

Mr. EVERSMEYER had worked as a spot welder at the Binkley Mfg. Co., in Warrenton for over 40 years. He faithfully attended the Troy Bible Holiness Church in Troy. He was a published poet and also enjoyed trapping.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Alvin, Leroy and Hillard EVERSMEYER and one sister, Velma EVERSMEYER.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Kathleen EVERSMEYER of Troy; his sister and her husband, Darline and Alden BRUNING of Topeka, Kan.; one brother-in-law, Florence GRAF of Warrenton; two sisters-in-law, Charlotte EVERSMEYER of Batchtown, Ill. and Adelia EVERSMEYER of Wright City; four nieces and their husbands, Melva Jean and Charles PARK of Jacksonville, Fla., Karen and Ross HIRST of Topeka, Kan., Joyce and Greg GRISWOLD of Rockbridge, Ill., and Debbie and Kent BUESCHER of St. Charles.

Visitation was held at McCoy & Blossom Funeral Home in Troy.
