Obituary for Dorothy Eversmeyer (1917-1995)

Dorothy D. EVERSMEYER, 77, of Wright City died Wednesday, Sept. 27, 1995, at Missouri Baptist Medical Center in Town and Country.

She was born Nov 15, 1917, near Wright City, the daughter of William T. and Rose MILLER EVERSMEYER. She helped her brother, Ralph, on the farm and was later employed by the Binkley Company, Lincoln County Memorial Hospital and Wright City Meat Company.

She worked more than 30 years at Rite Sole Company in Wright City as a production manager. After her retirement, she worked part time for Rite Paper Products in Wright City.

She is survived by one niece, Adele JONES of St. Peters; one nephew, Don EVERSMEYER of Kansas City; one sister-in-law, Marie EVERSMEYER of Wright City; and longtime friends, Kenneth and Idele BRUNING of Wright City.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister.

Services were held Friday (Sept. 29) at Union United Methodist Church of Wright City with Rev. Harry Kishpaugh officiating. Interment was in the Wright City Cemetery.
