(Excerpts from an old obit.)

Mr. White DUEY died at the home of his brother, Beverly Duey of Cap-Au-Gris, (near where the Winfield Dam is now located on the Mississippi River j.g.) Tuesday night, after a long illness of kidney trouble. His home was at Montgomery City, but he came to the home of his brother several months ago hoping to benefited, but the disease had gotten such hold on him that its ravages could not be stayed. He was 56 years old and leaves a wife and many other relatives. He was buried at Corinth Cemetery (Foley, Mo. j.g.) Peace to his ashes.
