Two Young Girls Drowned In Cuivre River Monday Troy, Mo.
Annie Norton DUDLEY, daughter of Mrs. Parmellia DUDLEY and the late P.E. DUDLEY b. Dec. 19, 1884. United with the Methodist Church Feb. 9, 1902. Relations bereft are her mother & 4 brothers; Pendleton, James, Wray and Rufus.
Kate Lee AVERY, daughter of Dr. AVERY & Mrs. C.D. AVERY b. May 1886. Member of the Baptist Church in Dec. 10, 1889 under the ministry of Rev. J.P. Stuart later joined the Methodist Church Jan. 19, 1902. Left are mother, father and 2 brothers.
Everst McKay & James Payne- came by the scene and tried to rescue these girls from the water.
