Mrs. Agnes DRYDEN Funeral Rites Held Thursday
Mrs. Agnes M. ( Mary was inserted) 64, died early Sunday morning in the Sunset Retirement home where she had been since February 15. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday from Miller Funeral Home with Rev. Marvin Braungardt officiating. Interment was in the Elsberry City Cemetery.
Mrs. DRYDEN was born May 24, 1899 at Bellville, IL. She was a daughter of Jacob and Mary (BOWELS) AMLUNG. On Oct. 24, 1918 she was married to Emery H. DRYDEN who preceded her in death on February 9, 1964. She was a member of Arlington Ave. Methodist church of St. Louis. She was a retired machine operator.
She is survived by a son, William J. DRYDEN of St. Charles, Mo. step daughter, Mrs. Carl ROBERTSON of Ferguson, Mo. She also leaves a sister, Cornelia HACKER; three brothers, Leo, Cletus, and Albert AMLUNG, an uncle, John AMLUNG and wife of Idaho, one niece and one nephew.
The services were in charge of Miller Funeral Home.
