Mrs. Sarah COX, of this city, received a telegram Saturday afternoon announcing the death of her son, J. L. (Lan) COX, which occurred Friday night, May 21, at his home near Skiatook, Okla. His death was due to tuberculosis of the lungs, which he contracted about a year ago. His age was 41 years. His wife died in November, 1914. He is survived by three daughters and one son, his mother, four brothers and two sisters, besides many other relatives in this county.
