The remains of Mrs. Emily COLE, of St. Charles, were brought here last week for burial. Mrs. COLE has lived in our adjoining neighborhood for many years, until two years ago, after the death of her husband, Thos. A. COLE, when she went to St. Charles to make her home with her sister Mrs. Alice HINES. "Aunt Emily," as she was familiarly known, was only ill a few days with pneumonia, when she passed away. She will be sadly missed by her relatives and many friends. On Thursday morning, funeral services were conducted here at the Alexander Methodist Church by her pastor from St. Charles, after which her remains were laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery by the side of her husband. Sympathy to the bereaved relatives.
