Services for Earl Keith COBB of Troy were held Sunday at McCoy & Blossom Chapel in Troy. Rev. Mary Ellen Meyer officiated and interment was in the Troy City Cemetery.
Mr. COBB, 69, passed away January 20, 1984 in Lincoln County Memorial Hospital, Troy. He was born February 5, 1914 in Bellflower, the son of Benjamin F. and Ollie E. COBB. He was married to Bernice CROUSE COBB of Troy, who survives. A retired employee of the Ford Motor Co., Mr. COBB was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Leo F. COBB, a niece, Lynette WITTE and his father-in-law, Porter CROUSE.
Survivors include a daughter, Nedra OTTE and husband, Gerald of St. Charles; a sister, Corletta MERCKLING and husband, Ray of Troy; two brothers, Tyrus R. COBB and wife, Natalie of Bridgeton, Johnnie W. and wife, Kathryn of Breckenridge Hills; a grandson, Nicholas OTTO of St. Charles; a sister-in-law, Lorene PANHORST and husband, Robert of St. Charles; mother-in-law, Mrs. Hattie CROUSE, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Serving as pallbearers were Wesley HAWKINS, Frank COOPER, Alpha OMARA, Mike OMARA, R.T. MOMPHARD and Henry BOWERS.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Nurses Scholarship Fund at Lincoln County Memorial Hospital or to Medicalodge of Troy.
