Funeral services for Benjamin F. COBB were held Friday at McCoy & Blossom Funeral Home Chapel in Troy. Rev. Mary Ellen Meyer officiated and burial was in the Zion Cemetery, Truxton.

Mr. COBB, 93, passed away January 17, 1984 in Lincoln County Memorial Hospital. He was born March 3, 1890 in Silex, the son of the late John William and Janie COLBERT COBB. He was married to Ollie E. COBB, who preceded him in death on June 21, 1976.

Survivors include a daughter, Corletta MERCKLING and husband, Ray, of Troy; three sons, Earl K. and wife, Bernice of Troy, Tyrus R. and wife, Natalie of Bridgeton, Johnnie and wife, Kathryn of Breckenridge Hills; ten grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Besides his wife, he was preceded in death also by a son, Leo F. COBB.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Dr. Charles Kilo Diabetes Research Fund.
