Obituary for Roy Cappel (1913-1982)

Funeral services for Roy Woodrow CAPPEL, age 68 of Troy, will be held Sunday, Feb. 14, from the St. Stephan United Methodist Church, Rev. Bennie Wilsey officiating, assisted by Rev. Lester Zacher. Interment will be in the Troy City Cemetery.

Mr. CAPPEL was born in Moscow Mills, Mo. September 4, 1913, the son of Anthony and Annie OSBORN CAPPEL. He passed away at the Lincoln County Memorial Hospital early Thursday morning Feb. 11, 1982.

He is survived by his wife, Juanita; daughters: Carol PANHORST and husband, Jim, and Joyce DOWELL and her husband, Floyd; two brothers: Fred CAPPEL and Clarence CAPPEL; three sisters: Mrs. Lucille HILL, Mrs. Lena HARRELL and Mrs. Edith HARRELL; four grandchildren; many other friends and relatives.

Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and all day Saturday. Masonic services at 7 p.m. Saturday.

McCoy-Paul Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
