Obituary in the Troy Free Press, 20 January 1950, p. 1, col. 3:

Mrs. Mary Elizabeth CAMPBELL, of Troy, died Sunday, January 15 at Warrenton, where she had spent the past few weeks. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon, January 17, at the Troy Baptist Church, at 3:30 o'clock. Rev. Elbert MENGE conducting the service. Interment was made in the Troy cemetery.
Born October 2, 1866, in Franklin County, Mo., Mrs. CAMPBELL was 83 years, 3 months and 15 days of age at the time of her death.

And in the 27 January 1950 Supplement to the Troy Free Press:

Mrs. Mary CAMPBELL, (nee MOSBY (sic)), was born October 3, 1866 in Franklin county, MO., and passed away Sunday, January 15, 1950, at the age of 83 years, 3 months and 12 days in the Katie Jane Memorial Home in Warrenton, where she had been since October.
For the past 15 years she had been cared for by Mr. and Mrs. Dave ONEY at her home just north of Troy.
She was married to John B. CAMPBELL in 1913, who preceded her in death August 27, 1929.
She was a faithful member of the Troy Baptist Church and showed her love for it by attending whenever possible until several years ago, she suffered a stroke of paralysis.
She will be missed by her four nephews, three nieces, namely: Allie, Charlie, William and Robert HASSELFELD, (Mary) Mrs. Paul STEPANEK, (Lilly) Mrs. Guy STEPANEK and (Addie) Mrs. Jess DUNARD. She will also be sadly missed by Dave and Violet ONEY, their two children, Glenn and David, who loved her dearly; Mrs. ONEY's mother, Mrs. JONES, who made her home with them, and a host of friends.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock at Troy Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Elbert MENGE. She was laid to rest by the side of her husband in the Troy cemetery.
