Obituary for William Henry Bueneman (1920-1974)

            William Henry BUENEMAN was born near Troy, Mo., August 25, 1920, the son of Nathaniel and Ida SCHMIDT BUENEMAN.  He passed away in the Lincoln County Memorial Hospital in Troy, Mo., Thursday afternoon, June 20, 1974, at the age of 53 years, 9 months and 25 days.

            All of Mr. BUENEMAN’s life was spent in Lincoln County.  His elementary schooling was received in the Sugar Grove School.   From there he entered Buchanan High School in Troy and graduated from there.

            On August 4, 1946, he was united in marriage to Miss Annline POLLMAN.   The couple established their home on a farm near Troy.  They became the parents of two children, and as the children grew up, the farm became a family project.

            Mr. BUENEMAN is survived by his very devoted wife, Annline; their son, David, and their daughter, Debra, all of the home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Nat BUENEMAN, his sister, Lucille and her husband, Fred BERGFELD, all of Troy; his father and mother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Jess POLLMAN, one niece, one nephew, other relatives and many friends.

            As an infant, Mr. BUENEMAN was baptized into the Evangelical faith.   In 1940, he was confirmed in the same class as his wife.

            The Rev. Lester Zacher conducted the funeral services for Mr. BUENEMAN on Saturday, June 22, 1974, from the Friedens United Church of Christ in Moscow Mills.   Mrs. Wencker Meyer was the organist, and the vocalists were Mrs. Edwin Strassemeier and Mrs. Melvin Harrell.

            Interment was in Zoar Cemetery.  Casket bearers were Clifton ADELHARDT, Dennis MORRIS, Marvin BUENEMAN, Ernie BUENEMAN, Ora BUENEMAN, and Irvin Dale BUENEMAN.

            Arrangements were through the Kemper Marsh Funeral Home of Troy.
