Obituary for Helen Bueneman
(1911-2002)Helen Dorothy WESTERMAN BUENEMAN of Troy, Mo., died Friday afternoon at the Lincoln County Medical Center. She was 91.
Daughter of the late William and Ida WESTERMAN in Moscow Mills, she had attended the Lincoln County schools. She married Ora BUENEMAN on Nov. 24, 1932. The couple made their home on the farm formerly owned by Ida BECK. They expanded their farm in 1960, built a new home in 1961, and again added acreage to the farm in 1967.
She is survived by her husband, Ora BUENEMAN of 70 years; her children, Irvin BUENEMAN and special friend Barb and Velma DUNARD and husband Bob, of Troy; her sisters Eva BUENEMAN, Willie Rae KRIEG and Georgia FENNEDY, all of Troy; her brother-in-law, Marvin BUENEMAN and wife Mildred, of Troy; two sisters-in-law, Mary BUENEMAN of Idaho and Alva DOWELL of Bowling Green; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her daughter and son-in-law, Roberta June and Bob NOLAN, granddaughter Darla DUNARD FLYNN; four sisters, Hilda and Mary WESTERMAN, Gladys HOLMES and Lizzie MARTIN and one brother, Herbert WESTERMAN.
Pallbearers were Ted BUENEMAN, Tyler EVELAND, Elton RODGERS, E.J. RODGERS, David DUNARD and Aaron FLYNN. Honorary pallbearers were John DUNARD, Michael FLYNN, Eric RODGERS, Ed RODGERS and Dean McDONALD.
Friends were received at Kemper-Marsh-Millard Funeral Home, Troy. Funeral services were held in the Friedens United Church of Christ, Moscow Mills, Sunday at 3 p.m. with Pastor Eugene Rahmier officiating. Interment followed in Friedens United Church of Christ Cemetery.
