Edna Earl BRAUNGARDT, 89 of Shawnee, Ok., died Saturday, January 7, in an Oklahoma hospital.

Services were held January 10 at the University Baptist Church, with the Rev. Glen Pence officiating. Burial followed at Resthaven Cemetery. Roesch Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements.

She was married to the Rev. A.A. BRAUNGARDT on September 14, 1919 at Moscow Mills, Mo. She moved to Shawnee about 1949 from Hillsboro, Mo., and she lived there since that time. Her husband ministered several churches in the area.

Mrs. BRAUNGARDT was preceded in death by her husband on November 29, 1962, and by an infant son, Donald Amos BRAUNGARDT. She was a member of the University Baptist Church and the American Legion Auxiliary, as well as serving as an active member of the Women’s Missionary Union.

Contributions may be made in her name to the University Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, George BRAUNGARDT, San Diego, Ca.; and C. David BRAUNGARDT, Fort Worth, Tx.; one daughter, Joyce WHITE, Fort Worth, Tx.; three brothers, Robert MARTIN, Mexico, Mo.; Kenneth MARTIN, Centralia, Mo.; and Charles MARTIN, Rocheport, Mo.; two sisters, Lorene WAGANER, Shawnee, Ok.; and Alma SINGLETON, St. Louis, Mo.; and five grandchildren.
