Funeral services for Arnold BERGFELD of Moscow Mills were held Wednesday at McCoy & Blossom Funeral Chapel, Troy. Rev. Kendale Finley officiated and burial was in the Friedens United Church of Christ Cemetery, Moscow Mills.

Mr. BERGFELD, 65, passed away March 18, 1984 in Lincoln Count Memorial Hospital. He was born April 15, 1918 in Moscow Mills, the son of Charles Henry and Mannie SANDERS BERGFELD. He was married to Mary Alice JOHNSON BERGFELD. Mr. BERGFELD was a retired carpenter.

Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Diana BRAWLEY of Eolfa, Mary Beth PARKER of Columbia and Cheryl FREDDE of Moscow Mills; a son, Charles A. BERGFELD of Moscow Mills; nine grandchildren, an aunt, Nona HERZOG of Encino, Ca.; an uncle, Alfred SANDERS of St. Charles, other relatives and friends.
