OWEN BENNETT DIES

R.T.BENNETT, of Troy, was called to St. Louis last Thursday by the death of his son, Owen T. BENNETT, who died that day, December 9, at the City Hospital from injuries received Tuesday night when his car crashed into the rear of a street car. He suffered a crushed chest, fractured right hip and a skull injury.

Mr. BENNETT, who was 58 years of age, was born and reared in Troy and made his home in St. Louis for the past several years, where he was an insurance agent.

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the Albert H. Hoppe Funeral Home in St. Louis. He is survived by his father; his wife; three sons, Richard H., Kenneth M. and G.Robert BENNETT; two brothers, Forrest and George; a sister, Mrs. Nat CLARK, and other relatives.
