Funeral services for Alma Mary BASTEAN, 83 years of age, of Moscow Mills, were held Sunday, January 30, 1977 from the Freidens United Church of Christ in Moscow Mills. The Rev. Dwight E. BORDEN officiating.

Mrs. BASTEAN passed away at the Lincoln County Manor Friday, January 28, 1977 after an extended illness.

She was born in Moscow Mills, October 9, 1893, the daughter of Charles and Sophia ALBIG SCHAFFER. On March 19, 1927 she was united in marriage to Fred BASTEAN. To this union one daughter was born, Marie (Mrs. David) BELTER of Moscow Mills.

Surviving in addition to her daughter is one sister, Mrs. Mary REIMIER, of Boonville, Mo. and four grandchildren.

The organist was Mrs. Mary Margaret MEYER and the vocalist was Mrs. Barbara LAMPLEY.

The pall bearers were: Paul MARTIN, Harvey MARTIN, Herbert RAHMIER, Homer LEITMAN, Eddie SCHAFER, and Glen THORNHILL.

The arrangements were through the McCoy-Paul Funeral Home with burial in the Friedens United Church of Christ Cemetery.
