(1924-1981)Funeral services for Frank J. ARKES Jr., age 57, was held Tuesday, December 29, 1981, from the McCoy-Paul Funeral Home in Troy, Rev. Larry Donelson officiating. Interment was in the Sulphur Lick Cemetery.
Mr. ARKES was born in St. Louis Count, Mo. December 14, 1924, the son of Frank and Effie LATTRACE ARKES Sr. On January 29, 1954 he was married to DeLores GAU.
He is survived by his wife, DeLores: daughter, Mary ARKES; his mother, Mrs. Effie ARKES; two sisters: Mrs. Robert HUMPHREY of Dittmer, Mo. and Mrs. Roy SHELLHARVEY of Centralia, Mo.; other relatives and many friends.
Myrtle Riehl of Warrenton was in charge of the music.
Mr. ARKES was an excavating contractor.
