Orval ARGENT, 84

Sevices for Rolla Orval ARGENT of Winfield were held at 10:30 a.m. Friday in Carter-Ricks Funeral Home at Winfield. The Rev. Kenneth Gray, pastor of New Salem Baptist Church, officiated with bural in New Salem Cemetery. Mr. ARGENT, 84, died May 29, 1984 in St.Anne's Nursing Home, Bridgeton. He was born Nov. 15, 1899 in Argentville, the son of Rolla and Almedia GENTRY ARGENT. On Dec. 2, 1972, he was married in Ft. Myers, Fl., to Alice Marie CHOTT who survives. Surviving besides his wife, who resides in Winfield, are two daughters, Mrs. Devoid (Dorothy) BACON and Mrs. Lee (Barbara) PAGE of Harrisonville.
