Funeral services for Oneida E. ALBERS, 80, of St. Charles, were held at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 7 at Kemper-Marsh-Millard Family Funeral Home. Rev. Hubert Newman officiated. Interment followed at a private graveside service at St. Charles Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. ALBERS died Wednesday, March 6, 2002 at St. Peters Manor.
Born July 12, 1921 in Winfield, she was the daughter of Harry and Adaline DICKMEYER. She was married March 17, 1947 in Troy to Wilfred K. ALBERS who preceded her in death.
Mrs. ALBERS was a cook for a canteen service most of her life.
Survivors include two brothers: Albert DICKMEYER of Winfield and Delmar DICKMEYER of OFallon; two sons: Kenneth ALBERS and Jerry Wayne ALBERS, both of St. Charles; three daughters: Marilyn E. PARKER of OFallon, Betty Ann HAYNIE and husband, Gary, of Troy and Mary Carol HOUSE and husband, Kenneth, of Hannibal; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Visitation was held from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday, March 7 at Kemper-Marsh-Millard Family Funeral Home Troy Chapel.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimers Association of St. Louis. Arrangements were under the direction of Kemper-Marsh-Millard Family Funeral Home Troy Chapel, 351 Monroe St., P.O. Box 222, Troy, MO 63379
