Funeral services for the Rev. Karl F. ALBERS of Owensville, Mo., were held May 28, at Femme Osage United Church of Christ at Augusta, Mo. Interment was in the Anderson Hill Cemetery at Moscow Mills, Mo.

The Rev. ALBERS died May 25, 1991, at the age of 87.

Born March 20, 1904 in Cincinnati, Ohio, he was the son of Karl D. and Rhosa PULZ VON ROHR ALBERS.

His Evangelical, Evangelical Reformed and later United Church of Christ ministry of 42 years included pastorates in Troy, Ill.; Coshockton, Ohio; Oak Ridge, Mo.; Broadlands and Sidney, Ill.; Moscow Mills and Troy, Mo.; and Femme Osage, Mo., which subsequently included Schluersberg. After his retirement from the ministry in 1969, the Rev. ALBERS lived in Owensville.

The Rev. ALBERS was preceded in death by his wife, Zenita JOHNSON ALBERS.

He is survived by two sons: Keith and Bruce ALBERS; one daughter, Cynthia CARR; four grandsons, two daughters-in-law and one son-in-law.

Visitation was held Monday, May 27, at Hutchens Mortuary, Florissant, Mo.

The family requests that memorial donations in memory of the Rev. ALBERS be given to Femme Osage Cemetery Fund, 4360 Cappeln Osage Road, Augusta, Mo., 63332, or American Lung Assoc. of Eastern Mo., 1118 Hampton Ave., St. Louis, 63139.
