W. L. Douglas, Jr. & Merle M. Jackson. This cemetery is located south of New Hope, MO in Lincoln County on Hwy. V. To reach cemetery from New Hope, take Hwy W to junction of V & W. Turn right on V, go to first farm on right. Cemetery is reached through a barn lot to a ridge about ¼ mile off Hwy V, on the old Capt. John Alloway farm. Andrew Downing was a son of Ezekiel Downing, Sr., and brother of Ezekiel, Jr., of Lincoln County. Ezekiel Sr. was from Kentucky. DOWNING Andrew DOWNING - d: Aug. 6, 1874 73y Andrew A. Near this cemetery is the old Alloway Cemetery and the old Hickory Ridge School.
