MYERS - SEDLACEK

Married, at St. Alphonsus Church, Millwood, Mo., Tuesday afternoon, Feb. 4, 1902, Willie R MYERS, of Silex Mo., to Miss Mamie SEDLACEK, of Millwood. The bride is one of Millwood’s most accomplished young ladies, while the groom is one of Long Arm Praire’s most popular young men. Attendants Miss Rena MYERS, sister of the groom and Edmond REEB, of East St. Louis, Ill. Promptly at four o’clock the bridal party filed into the church, the bride leaning on the arm of Mr. REEB followed by the groom and his sister leaning on his arm, where in the presence of a number of friends and relatives Father QUIGLEY pronounced the words that made them man and wife.

The bride was attired in a beautiful white organdie with veil and flowers. The bridesmaid also wore a beautiful white organdie. The groom and groomsman wore the conventional black.

Immediately after the ceremony was performed they passed out of the church and, were driven to the home of the groom, where an elegant supper had been bounteously spread for them and a number of their relatives and friends to which all did ample justice, They were the recepient of many valuable and beautiful presents. After supper the guests spent a few pleasant hours in conversation and music before bidding their host and hostess adieu. That their journey through life may be as bright as their wedding day is the wish of the writer.
