The State of Missouri to the Sheriff of Lincoln County -- Greeting
You are hereby commanded to summon Adam Coose, Guardian to Rachel Cox, a minor, to be and appear before the Justices of our next Lincoln County Court, to be begun and held at Troy, the first Monday in August next, to exhibit his accounts and proceedings as Guardian aforesaid, for settlement, and to show cause, if any he can, why an attachment shall not be awarded against him for not exhibiting his accounts, at the term at which he was required by law to settle as aforesaid. And have you then there this writ.

in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred
and twenty-nine.

Know all men by these presents, That we Adam Coose and Philip Sitton are held and firmly bound unto John Miller, Governor of the state of Missouri, and his successors in office, in the sum of two hundred dollars, good and lawful money of the United States, to the payment of which well and truly to be made, we, and each of us, bind ourselves, our heirs, executors, administrators and assigns, jointly and severally, firmly by these presents, signed with our hands, and sealed with our seals, this sixth day of February, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty eight.
The condition of the above obligation is such, That, whereas the above bound Adam Coose has been duly appointed guardian to Rachel Cox, a minor, under the age of twenty one years.
Now if the said Adam Coose guardian, shall faithfully and truly discharge his duties as guardian aforesaid, according to law, and in all respects comply with the requisitions that are, or may be, enjoined upon him by the law, as guardian to the said Rachel Cox, then, and in that case, this obligation to be void, and of no effect, otherwise to remain in full force and virtue.
