Property Description:  Commencing at the SW corner of the SW 1/4 of Sec. 9, Twp 49, Rng 2E and running north 43 poles, thence east with a parallel line far enough to include 13 acres.

Know all Men by these presents that Christopher Columbus HILTON of the county of Lincoln and State of Missouri -- has this day forward in consideration of the sum of One hundred and fifty (150) collars to the said Christopher Columbus HILTON in hand paid by Wm. H. WISE of the State and county aforesaid, granted bargained and sold, and by these presents do grant bargain and sell unto the said Wm. H. WISE, the following described lot or parcel of land to wit ~ commencing at the South west corner of the south west quarter of section (9) in Township forty nine (49) of range No. two (2) east and running north forty three (43) poles, thence east with a parallel line far enoug to include thirteen (13) acres, to have and to hold the premises hereby conveyed, with all the rights and privileges, and appurtenances thereto belonging; unto the said Wm. H. WISE, his heirs and assigns forever, and I Christopher Columbus Hilton hereby covenanting by and with the said Wm. H. WISE, his heirs and assigns for himself his heirs, executors and administrators do warrant and defend the title to the premises hereby conveyed against the claim of every person whatsoever.  In witness whereof I have hereto subscribed my name and affixed my seal this twenty seventh (27th) day of May, A.D. One thousand eight hundred and sixty four (1864)

County of Lincoln } SS  Be it remembered that on this twenty seventh day of May in the year of our Lord Eighteen hundred and sixty four, before me one of the justices of the peace within and for the county aforesaid, came Christopher Columbus HILTON who is personally known to me to be the person whose name is subscribed to the foregoing instrument of writing, us having executed the same and acknowledged the said instrument be his act and deed for the purpose therein mentioned.  Taken and certified the day and year aforesaid.
