Property Description: Commencing at the SW corner of the SW 1/4 of Sec. 9, Twp 49, Rng 2E, and running north 43 pole; thence East with a parallel line for enough to include 13 acres
Know all men by these presents that Miles H. PRICE and Luticia A. his wife of the County of Lincoln and State of Missouri have this day for and in consideration of the sum of Fifty Dollars to the said Miles H. PRICE in hand paid by Christopher Columbus HILTON of the State and County aforesaid granted, bargained and sold and by these presents do grand bargain and sell unto the said Christopher C. HILTON the following described lot or parcel of land to wit commencing at the South west corner of the Southwest quarter of Section nine in Township forty nine of Range No. 2 East, and running north 43 pole; thence East with a parallel line for enough to include 13 acres. To have and to hold the premises hereby conveyed with all the rights and privileges and appertainances thereto belonging unto the said Christopher C. HILTON his heirs and assigns forever, and we Miles H. and Luticia PRICE hereby covenanting to and with the said Christopher C. HILTON his heirs and assigns for himself his heirs executors and adminnistrators to warrant and defend the title to the premises hereby conveyed against the claim of every person whatsoever. In Witness Whereof we have hereto subscribed our names and affixed our seals this third day of January one thousand Eight hundred and fifty nine.

County of Lincoln } SS Be it remembered that Miles H. PRICE and Luticia PRICE wife
of Miles H. PRICE both of whom are personally known to the undersigned Justice of the
peace to be the same persons whose names are subscribed to the within deed this day
appeared before me at the County of Lincoln and the ssid Miles H. PRICE acknowledgd that
he executed said deed for the uses and purposes therein expressed. And the said
Luticia PRICE being by me first made acquainted with the contents of said deed and and
acknowledged that she executed said deed and relinquished her dower in the real estate
therein mentioned freely and without comulsion or undue influence of her said husband.
In witness wehreunto I have hence set my hand and affixed myseal this fourth day of January one thousand and eight hundred and fifty-nine.

Transcriber Notes: Grantee Christopher Columbus Hilton was the son of William F. HILTON and Lucy BELT, and was a brother Lee Ellen (HILTON) DORSEY, and Luticia PRICE. Therefore, the grantor Miles H. PRICE was his brother-in-law. He was about 44 years of age when he married Sarah Ann NULL in Lincoln County on 2 June 1864. She died in 1869.
