SAMS- TUCKER MARRIAGE The Rev. Floyd V. Sams, pastor of the Troy Baptist Church, and Miss Gladys Tucker, youngest daughter of Mr. & Mrs. W. H. Tucker, of Troy, were married Thursday evening, June 2, at 6:45at the Calvary Baptist Church of Hannibal. Dr. A. F. Morris performed the marriage ceremony.
Mr. and Mrs. S. J. Feaster, of Palmyra, the former a cousin of the bridegroom, attended the bridal couple. Other guests were: Mrs. Morris, Miss Elma Sams, of Palmyra, and Miss Mary Fern Gast, of Hannibal. ....
Rev. Sams a native of Palmyra: ..Mrs. Sams born and reared in Troy, is a graduate of Buchanan High School... following wedding trip will be at home to their friends in an apartment at the residence of Mrs. C. P. Ward.

EBERLE - HOWARD
Mr. Richard Eberle, of Silex, and Miss Virginia Howard, of New Hope...were married Sat. afternoon June 4,1938 at the home of the bride's uncle, T.C. Howard, of Elsberry. Attendants were: the groom's brother, George and Anna L. Hardesty.
Mr. Eberle, eldest son of Dr. & Mrs. W. H. Eberle, of Silex, and his bride is the only daughter of Groves Howard of New Hope. They will make their home on a farm near Elsberry.
BRANDES - BLAKEY
Miss Donna Marie Brandes, only child of Mr. & Mrs. Otis Brandes, of Old
Monroe and Mr. William T. Blakey, of Winfield, were married Saturday, May
28, at the home of the bride's parents, by the Rev. M. D. Dudley, of
Troy.
They were attended by Mr. Charles Kelly and Miss Madeline Pieper, of Old Monroe....
TEMPLE -ELDER
Miss Hildegarde Elder & Mr. Leigh Temple married at Millwood June 4,1938 Saturday 6 p.m. by Rev. W. F. Carr. Attendants were Barbara Schenk, sister of the bride and Mr. Everett Temple, brother of the groom. Mother of the Bride: Mrs. Eugene ( Elza) Temple.
