Recorder of Deeds Hardesty issued a marriage license Monday to Mr.
Felix William Burkemper, of Old Monroe, and Miss Claradean Jamison, of
Winfield.

Mr. Lee Norton, of northwest of Troy, and Mrs. Mamie Kolb, of
northeast of Troy, were married in St. Charles last week.
Column 2.
Mrs. Mary E. Zumwalt, nee Thornhill, died September 11, at her home in
St. Charles, aged 68 years. She was the widow of R.S. Zumwalt, who died
in 1910, and was born in Lincoln County. The family had livd in St.
Charles County since 1903. She left one brother, who lives at Sullivan,
Mo., also one son and one daughter. Her burial was at St. Charles,
September 13, with the honors of the Eastern Star.

William U. Gilmore died at his home near Auburn last Tuesday, September
13, at the age of 65 years.
He was born in the vicinity of Mackville, a son of the late Judge John
T. Gilmore. Burial was in Sulphur Lick Cemetery Thursday, September
15, conducted by Rev. O.A.Gordon and Rev. J.R.Benika. Mr. Gilmore is
survived by his wife one son, Glenn, two sisters, Mrs. J.A.
Eversmeyer, of Troy and Mrs. John Dwyer of Silex, a niece, Miss Elza
Harrs, and a nephew, Will Gilmore, both of Troy. We extend sympathy to
the bereaved family.

Wm. D. Dean, of St. Louis, who married Miss Anna Simpson , formerly of
this county, February last, was seriously hurt in an automobile accident
Tuesday morning.....

Mr. Orville L. DAVIS, of Martinsburg and Miss Aleta May BOICOURT, of
Mexico, came down to Troy Wednesday and procured a marriage license.

Saturday's St. Louis papers contained the notice of marriage license
granted to Mr. John Norton FORBUSH and Miss Loraine GRADEL, both of
St. Louis. FORBUSH is the son of Mrs. Estelle FORBUSH, and was born
and raised in Winfield. He was graduated from Buchanan High School in
Troy a few years ago. His many Lincoln County friends extend
congratulations and best wishes.
