Four Doctors Now Conducting Clinic in Jennings. Modern and Up-to-Date Facilities
Offered by Skilled Group.
Four well-known doctors, are now conducting a clinic, called the Northwest Clinical Group,
at 4758 Jennings road. The staff includes Dr. Louis V. ROSELL, Dr. June L. SCHATZMANN, Dr.
Sterling A. MAXFIELD and Dr. James W. ROGAN. Prior to opening the clinic, Drs. SCHATZMANN
and ROSELL were practicing together at 3704 Shreve avenue.
Dr. Louis V. ROSELL graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree, College of City of New
York and College of Osteopathy and Surgery, Kirksville, Mo. Training at Manhattan General
Hospital in New York. Now devoting time to general practice and diseases of ear, nose and
throat. Secretary of the staff at New Normandy Osteopathic Hospital of which he is an
active staff member.
Dr. June L. SCHATZMANN graduated Bachelor of Arts Degree from Lindenwood College in St.
Charles. Kansas City College of Osteopathy and Surgery. Interned at Normandy Osteopathic
Hospital of which she is a member of the department of Obstetrics and Pediatric Service.
Dr. Sterling A. MAXFIELD graduated from the College of Osteopathy and Surgery, Kirksville,
Mo. Internship at Amarillo Hospital. Special work at Dover Clinic in Boston and at Cradit
and Vick Clinics in Amarillo, Texas. Specialized in Proctology and Peripherovascular
diseases. Pre-medical work at University of Illinois.
Dr. James W. ROGAN graduated from St. Louis University Dental School. Formerly located at
Thrush and Lillian. Now engaged in the practice of general dental surgery.
Note regarding clippings from the "Neva Murphy Hubbard Collection": Neva Murphy Hubbard (1886-1971) lived all of her life in Lincoln County, MO. She collected a large file of clippings of Lincoln County residents. The majority of the clippings were without citation. Beth Rengers Talken, beneficiary of the collection, has transcribed them for inclusion in our Lincoln County Heritage Records.
