Engagement of Lloyd R. Killam and Sadie Craig (after

At a party given by Miss Sadie CRAIG at her home, 1309 Keiser avenue, in honor of Miss
Ruth EVERSOLE of St. Louis, this afternoon, the engagement of Miss CRAIG to Mr. Lloyd R.
KILLAM was announced.
Miss CRAIG is a graduate of the University, class of 1910, and a member of the Kappa Kappa
Gamma sorority.
Mr. KILLAM is assistant secretary of the Y.M.C.A. and is a graduate of Wiliam Jewell
College and received a masters degree at Brown University of Providence, R.I.
The date of the wedding was not announced, but it will occur some time in the late summer
and in the fall the bridal couple will leave for Honolulu, Hawaii, where Mr. KILLAM will
become assistant secretary of the Y.M.C.A. at that place. Paul SUPER, a former student of
the University is secretary of the Y.M.C.A. at Honolulu.

Note regarding clippings from the "Neva Murphy Hubbard Collection": Neva Murphy Hubbard (1886-1971) lived all of her life in Lincoln County, MO. She collected a large file of clippings of Lincoln County residents. The majority of the clippings were without citation. Beth Rengers Talken, beneficiary of the collection, has transcribed them for inclusion in our Lincoln County Heritage Records.
