Wedding Announcement of Harvey E. Powell and Mary E. Murphy (date unknown)
No. 216 - Uncited clippings from the "Neva Murphy Hubbard Collection" of Beth Rengers Talken, 1998.

Harvey E. POWELL of St. Louis and Miss Mary E. MURPHY of near Troy were married Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the parsonage of the Methodist church, by the pastor, Rev. Chas. LYNCH. After the ceremony the young couple repaired to the bride's home, and later left on the afternoon train for St. Louis, where they will reside.

Note regarding clippings from the "Neva Murphy Hubbard Collection":  Neva Murphy Hubbard (1886-1971) lived all of her life in Lincoln County, MO.  She collected a large file of clippings of Lincoln County residents. The majority of the clippings were without citation. Beth Rengers Talken, beneficiary of the collection, has transcribed them for inclusion in our Lincoln County Heritage Records.
