No. 193 - Uncited clippings from the "Neva Murphy Hubbard Collection" of Beth Rengers Talken, 1998.

Will HUTT, son of Mr. and Mrs. R. B. HUTT of near Troy and Miss Jessie RUSSELL, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. S. COTTLE, will be married at the brides home Saturday evening, November 2nd, by Rev. M. D. DUDLEY. After the ceremony a reception will be tendered the young couple, and they will go to housekeeping on the George HALL farm near Troy. The bride is the adopted daughter of Mr. and Mrs. COTTLE and has made her home with them since she was a baby. She is held in the hightest esteem by all who know her and we join her numerous in wishing for her and her husband-to-be much joy and prosperity.

Note regarding clippings from the "Neva Murphy Hubbard Collection":  Neva Murphy Hubbard (1886-1971) lived all of her life in Lincoln County, MO.  She collected a large file of clippings of Lincoln County residents. The majority of the clippings were without citation. Beth Rengers Talken, beneficiary of the collection, has transcribed them for inclusion in our Lincoln County Heritage Records.
