Parks K. HUNN and Miss Nannie COCKRELL were married Wednesday at high noon by Rev. O. A. GORDON at the home of the bride's parents. The ceremony was witnessed by the immediate families of the contracting parties, after which a wedding dinner was served.  Mr. HUNN is a rising young farmer of the Chantilly neighborhood and well known throughout the county. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. L. COCKRELL of near Troy, is a popular young lady of the community and will make Mr. HUNN a helpful and loving companion through life. They will reside on the farm of the groom near Chantilly. The FREE PRESS extends its best wishes to this popular young couple.


Note regarding clippings from the "Neva Murphy Hubbard Collection":  Neva Murphy Hubbard (1886-1971) lived all of her life in Lincoln County, MO.  She collected a large file of clippings of Lincoln County residents. The majority of the clippings were without citation. Beth Rengers Talken, beneficiary of the collection, has transcribed them for inclusion in our Lincoln County Heritage Records.
