Wedding Announcement of Florence A. Gerdeman and Mabel Hunn (date
unknown)
No. 182 - Uncited clippings from the "Neva Murphy Hubbard Collection" of
Beth Rengers Talken, 1998.
A beautiful home wedding occurred Wednesday evening, Feb. 14, at the residence of the
bride, where Mr. Florence A. GERDEMAN and Miss Mabel HUNN were joined in the holy bonds of
matrimony by Rev. B. D. KENNEDY. The attendants were Mr. Vernette HUNN and Miss Josie
MYERS and Miss Carrie WILLIAMS rendered the wedding march. The bride's costume was a
beautiful blue broadcloth, trimmed with white silk and ribbon, and the groom wore the
usual black. After the congratulations, Brother KENNEDY led the way to the dining room,
where a bountiful supper was served. About forty guests were in attendance and the couple
received many useful and handsome presents. Mr. GERDEMAN is an honorable and upright young
man and his bride is a popular lady where she has lived. They will make their home at
Robinson, Kan., whither they are followed by the good wishes of many friends.
