Mr. Chas. BERGFELD and Miss Mamie SANDERS, both of Moscow Mills, were united in
marriage Wednesday evening Sept. 4 in Troy at the Methodist parsonage by Rev. Chas. LYNCH.
The bride is highly respected, and was the faithful telephone operator at Moscow for over
two years. The groom is also highly respected and is employed in the store by his father.
The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tom SANDERS. The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs.
Geo. BERGFELD. This young couple boarded the train for St. Louis, where they went for
their honeymoon trip. We extend our heartiest wishes to them for a long and happy wedded
life.
Note regarding clippings from the "Neva Murphy Hubbard Collection": Neva Murphy Hubbard (1886-1971) lived all of her life in Lincoln County, MO. She collected a large file of clippings of Lincoln County residents. The majority of the clippings were without citation. Beth Rengers Talken, beneficiary of the collection, has transcribed them for inclusion in our Lincoln County Heritage Records.
