From left to right Virgil WELLS and his wife Nora L. SHEPHERD married - November, 1903 and his brother Abner WELLS and his wife Ida DOWNING. Both couples were married in Lincoln County, Missouri and later on moved to Portland, Oregon. Virgil and Abner were sons of Carty and Peoria (Pug) BROYLES - WELLS from the Briscoe area.
