Daniel Siebert Hilton

This picture of my great-uncle Daniel Siebert HILTON was given to me by his cousin, Mrs. Lizzie (SUDDARTH) SMITH, MONTGOMERY in 1981 while I was working the Foley Centennial. Uncle Dan was born Oct. 23, 1872 and died Oct.7, 1951. He lived with his mother, Mrs. Stephen (Zorilda nee OVERALL, DORSEY,) HILTON on the old Hilton Homeplace on Hwy 79. Foley.

He was married for a short while to Mrs. Ida HICKMAN. She had several children and he was very happy . However she wasn't divorced as first thought and their marriage was annuled. He remained single the rest of his life. His niece Pansy Odessa HILTON, ELLIS cared for him in Quincy, IL. He is buried at Quincy, Il.
