Vera Belle "Bess" Weeks Groshong

Bess was born 30-July-1894 and died 24-May 1978 D/o James Grant & Ida Belle MORRIS, WEEKS. Ida B. died when Bess was 6 weeks old. Her grandparents Alfred & Martha E. (MOUNCE) WEEKS raised her on the WEEKS homeplace near Briscoe, Mo. that was homesteaded by Mrs. Alfred (Clarissa Harlow DOWDLE) WEEKS Sr. & Alfred Jr. coming from Shelbyville, Ky. in 1851.
