Eva Jane is the daughter of James T. and Nancy Jane Powell Gililland.  Hugh is the son of Hugh Sr. and Alcinda Miller Devier.  Hugh and Eva were married October 10, 1892 at Fairview Baptist Church, Hawkpoint, Lincoln County. After their marriage they made their home in Columbia, near Shaw, Boone County, Missouri.  They had one daughter Lucille, born November 24, 1909.
