Willliam J. DAWKINS (son of George Washington DAWKINS and Angeline DORSEY) was born 11 March 1864 in Lincoln Co., MO, and died 17 Feb. 1948, Lincoln Co., MO.  He married Virginia Lee LINDSEY, 16 Dec. 1886 in Lincoln Co., MO.  "Jennie Lee" (daughter of William Pike LINDSEY and Annarah DAY) was born 21 March 1867, and died 10 July 1955 in Callaway Co., MO.  William and Virginia Lee are both buried in New Salem Cemetery, Lincoln Co., MO. 

They are the parents of:  Ira DAWKINS, Ada (DAWKINS) RICKS and Alma (DAWKINS) RICKS.
