HI, I am trying to find out what became of a sister of my great great grandfather, George Irvin ROBERTS. Her name was Eliza Jane ROBERTS. She was born May 2, 1842, in what is now Grundy Co., MO. The last record I have of her was her listing in her mother's home on the 1850 Census of Grundy Co., MO. (dist. #55). Her father, James A. ROBERTS died in Franklin Twp., Grundy Co., MO., on June 27, 1847, and the 1850 census listed her as an 8 year old daughter of her mother Minerva ROBERTS.
I would also be interested to know where her father was buried. I could find no record of his burial in the cemetery records on the web site. Would also be interested in any other information regarding the ROBERTS or the KING families of Grundy County, Missouri. Thank you./Kelly Greer P. O. Box 15691 Boise, ID. 83715-5691.

Does anyone know anything about a short movie, with a cast of children from Trenton, that was filmed in a park in Trenton around 1937? My mother-in-law, then named Grace Bonderer, remembered auditioning for this in a basement somewhere in Trenton. The movie was made by an itinerant film company that apparently made these local in various towns and states. I have seen a similar movie that was made in Reidsville, NC, about 1939.
The plot of the movie involved a child being kidnapped, then being rescued by the children of the town. The rescue was possibly followed by a talent show, if it follows the model of the one made in North Carolina.
Our family would appreciate hearing from anyone who remembers this little movie being made. My mother-in-law´s family saw it in a theatre, but has never heard anything about it since. We´d love to get a copy of it, or possibly get a snapshot taken during the filming, or perhaps see a newspaper clipping about it. Thank you.
Sincerely,
David A. Norris
