Lillian Jackson Steele WilliamsSource: Boulder Daily Camera, Boulder, Colorado, December 1969.Lillian Eulala Williams of Pinecliffe, Colorado died at her home in that mountain community Friday afternoon. She was 84. Mrs. Williams was the widow of Orlando E. Williams, a retired railroad man, who died in April, 1956. She was born to Mr. and Mrs. James Jackson on Feb. 14, 1885, in Pattonsburg, Mo. She and Mr. Williams were married in Albany, Mo. She moved to Pinecliffe in 1962 from Englewood. Mrs. Williams had been a member of the Baptist church for 75 years. She is survived by three sons and a daughter. They include Opal Schofield of Pinecliffe and Raymond E. Steele and James O. Steele, both of Rollinsville. The other son is Lester F. Steele, Rifle, Colo. Also surviving are two sisters: Elizabeth Whittington and Myrtle Newman, both of Albany, Mo. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Howe Mortuary Chapel here. Burial will be in the Lafayette Cemetery, Lafayette, Colorado. Obituary corrections: Lillian first married John Franklin Steele in Albany, Missouri, April 14, 1903. He passed away 22 Dec 1931.
