Reed School

Reed School was in southeastern Daviess County, across the road from Zion Church. Cicero Fleming (1854-1927) was an early teacher there. More recent teachers included Pansy Mae (Hadden) Hall (1902-1994). Property on which the school was located is still in the Reed family. This photo was found in a group of pictures identified with the Breckenridge Street Fair. The patriotic motif suggests a date of 1915-20.
