Alice's parents were John M. Reynolds and Mary Magdaline Splawn, daughter of John and Rebecca Blevins Splawn. John M. Reynolds was a son of Stephen W. Reynolds Sr. and Mary "Polly" McMurtry. Rance Conley was born about 1867 in Missouri, a son of Napoleon Conley and Sarah Ellen Bishop. Alice "Lady" Reynolds was born about 1879 in Missouri.
