Most of these marriage records were abstracted from microfilm of the
originals. Cliff Sharrah provided the records for years 1837-1865.
Marie Cook abstracted all the records from the brides index Volume 1,
which covers the approximate span 1866-1893. Jim Stout transcribed the marriage
records 1894-1898 from the original marriage books at Gallatin. The combined files are
posted here with their permission.
